C4 General Discussion - PSA: Check your Battery Box For Corrosion - Was taking my car apart this winter for some fun routine busy work and decided to tackle the rust and corrosion from the battery acid that had built on this car over her long sleepy years. Well a C4 usually has a Junction box behind the battery. A C4 usually has a certain way it needs to be jumped i.e., you can't just attach the cables. Look in your owners manual.

You will need to identify that wire and find where it starts and where it leads to. Then trace it to locate the location of the short or run a new wire and cut the old one from its power source.
